DOMAINfest Europe Prague: Networking Activities

This two and one-half day event is all about building bridges that build success.

To encourage non-English speaking professionals to attend and participate in the discussions and relationship building, DOMAINfest Europe will have free translators available in German, Czech and Polish throughout the 2-day conference. Attendees in need of this service can indicate their preference during online registration.

Tuesday Oct 5

The relationship-building gets started during Happy Hour in the exhibit area (Diana Room) from 16:00 to 20:00hrs. Free beer, wine and snacks will be available. It will be a great way to meet fellow attendees and see what new products and services our exhibitors have to offer.

Wednesday Oct 6

As shown in the Agenda, the first day of the conference includes with a morning presentation on internet trends followed by an exciting keynote address. The networking then begins at lunch, where we fully expect to see a lively discussion around what the morning speakers presented.

Immediately after lunch, attendees will dive into a 2-hour Power Networking session in the main conference room. Each corner of the conference room will be assigned a carefully selected topic (see Agenda for Topic details). Invited experts in each topic will be briefly introduced to the audience, after which they will walk to their assigned corner of the room. Then the power networking begins. Over the next 2 hours, attendees will be free to approach whichever experts they feel offers the best ability to answer their most important business questions.

As attendees walk from corner to corner of the conference room to meet the different experts, they will naturally find themselves standing amongst fellow attendees who share the same strong interest in the respective topic. Since everyone in the given corner of the room shares this common interest, it offers a natural icebreaker for attendees to initiate conversations with one another while they wait for their turn to speak with an expert.

Thursday Oct 7

The second day is designed to encourage networking in a different way. Instead of networking around business topics, attendees will build relationships by sharing fun, cultural experiences during a variety of excursions in and around Prague.

During online registration, attendees will be able to select one morning and one afternoon excursion. But be sure to register early, because some excursions only have room for a limited number of people.
